The Forest Hills boys lacrosse team was created in 1986 as a co-op between Central, Eastern, and Northern. In 2007, it was divided into two teams: Forest Hills Central and Forest Hills Northern/Eastern. Then, in 2014 the Northern/Eastern co-op was separated so that all three Forest Hills high schools had their own boys lacrosse programs. On the girls side, Forest Hills Central broke off on their own in 2021, and Northern/Eastern continued as a co-op.
