SEASON FOUR SHOW NO. 70 MICHIGAN LACROSSE REVIEW - A high school career that begins in central New York, specifically West Genesee, where a lacrosse drill is named after the program. From a stellar prep career to stardom down the road at Syracuse University were John Galloway is the only goalie in NCAA history to win national championships in his freshman and sophomore years. A Tewaaraton Award Finalist, he earned the Ensign C. Markland Kelly, Jr. Award for the nation’s best goalkeeper in 2010 and 2011. In addition to his on-field presence, Galloway was a two-time national Academic All-American and was twice named Big East All-Academic. The likeable Jacksonville University head lacrosse coach played and starred for the US National team, in the MLL and the PLL and now he is building a lax powerhouse in northeast Florida.....did we tell you he's only 35.
