Season:
Episode:
The great Tom Marechek checks in with the Review from Georgia, where he's the head lacrosse coach at Pace Academy. One of the all-time great attacks, Marechek was a four-time All American at Syracuse, an All-Star in the NLL and PLL, a two-time world champion and he played right between the Gait brothers, Gary and Paul for a good portion of his career, making this intercollegiate trio the most dangerous attack in the history of the sport. It was a fun conversation about his career, and Tom tells us about a second generation of Marechek lacrosse players. We stop in and chat about box lacrosse equipment with our resident expert Brice Brubaker, from 313 Lacrosse, while Chris Kolon tells you what to look for in a box lacrosse program as part of the Michigan Team 91 minute. We finish the November episode of the Michigan Lacrosse Review conversing with Mark Koesterer, the president of The Player's NIL, and educational program designed to enlighten and inform the 98 percent of student-athletes headed towards college who don't expect to make millions on their name, image and likeness. This is something every lacrosse player should hear if you have college aspirations because Mark talks truth to power.
