The women's varsity team will premier in the 2024-25 season. Beginning for the 2022-23 school year, the men's club team will be a co-op between SVSU and Delta.

Saginaw Valley State will no longer add women’s lacrosse in 2022. A university spokesperson told me they still plan to add a women’s lacrosse team, but the timeline is uncertain because of the financial impact from the pandemic.
